The times we stayed in the upper peninsula at Mr. Gustason's cabins, on Lake Michigan, we had so much fun. We were trying to dam up the little rivers coming out of the woods, and Cork got so sunburnt, he had huge blisters on his shoulders. But we had a great time.

Lots of memories, at the mink farm, going to the upper peninsula and staying in the cabins, all of you coming to our house for Christmas, all of us coming to your house for Thanksgiving, lots of great times together.

My condolences and prayers to Corky's family. I first met Corky in 9th grade at Washington Junior High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin and we became friends onward through graduation from Bradford High School in 1970. He attended church with me in Racine, Wisconsin at Church of Christ and was baptized in 1971.
Corky was a great friend, witty, funny, and always a philosopher. His favorite band was Simon and Garfunkel at that time and he used to sing, a bit off key, I Am a Rock and Sounds of Silence. He gave me their first album as a birthday gift and I actually still have it!
He spoke of Molly with great love and his sons with such love and pride.
