My Grandma Connie was and is a huge part of my life. Being the first grandchild, she especially spoiled me. I remember going to visit and my grandma always having special toys and treats for me. She would custom make me skating outfits, she made dolls clothes that matched mine, and she even found vintage Barbie’s and GI Joe’s for me to play with. She would make special ice cream treats before bed and never missed an opportunity to make homemade applesauce (or her potato salad I would still fight my Uncle Ed over). She passed along her love of Delft pottery form Holland and how to spot a good yard sale from a mile away. She taught me how to create my own baby doll dress pattern and sew them on my own and shared her skills in making the worlds best apple pie.
When I think of my Grandma, I am filled with happy memories. I know all the love and support she gave me, she passed down to my Mom Patti, who now fills my daughters hearts and dreams with the same fun loving, craft-making, pie-baking and early morning yard-sale adventures I so enjoyed with her through childhood, teenage hood and well into adulthood.
I will miss my Grandma deeply, but I know she is in a happy place, back alongside my Grandpa George, proud of us all and filling us all with happy memories and good yard-sale luck!

Pat, Georgia, and Ed,
It's sad to hear that Connie has passed. She was a joy to be around. Her and George were so kind to me. They gave so much encouragement when it was really needed. I'll always be grateful to them for allowing me to work at the Parkway DX and for all I learned there. I pray that you will find peace and comfort in knowing that her life was a blessing to many who knew her.

Aunt Connie always had a smile on her face. I can remember she would always let us kids play as hard as we could, running, singing, jumping and yelling. I have a lot of memories growing up with Patty, Georgia and Ed with Aunt Connie always making it special for us. Whe was a great lady.
Wishing you and your famlily strength and peace.
Love you,
