Corrine D. Wolfe

HERNDON - Corrine D. Wolfe, 75, of 5082 State Route 147, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at her home where she was a patient for the past three weeks.
She was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Lower Mahanoy Township, County Line, a daughter of the late Mabel and Earl Batdorf. On June 7, 1952, she married Reynold L. Wolfe, who survives.
Corrine was a 1951 graduate of Mahanoy Joint High School.
A homemaker and a lifetime member of County Line Trinity United Methodist Church, where she served in the past as children's Sunday School Superintendent, teacher and choir member.
Corrine was an avid reader, loved to travel, take care of flowers and enjoyed feeding the birds, especially finches and humming birds.
She is survived by two sons, Rickey L. Wolfe Sr. and his wife Kimberly, and Jerry L. Wolfe and significant other, Charlene DeFord; five grandchildren, Rickey Jr. and wife Kate, Andrew, Kaitlin and Faith Wolfe, and Jillian Wynings and husband Aaron; three great-grandchildren, Donte and Greyson Wynings and Nevin Wolfe; one brother, Kurvin and wife Lois Batdorf; one sister-in-law, Marlene Winkelman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Carolyn Santoro, Gary and Teresa Wolfe; and seven nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2125 Mahantango Creek Road, followed by a memorial service at 11 and will be ministered by her pastor, the Rev. Richard Anderson.
Burial will follow in County Line Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Perpetual Care Fund, County Line Evangelical Cemetery Assoc., 2125 Mahantango Creek Road, Dalmatia, PA 17017.
