Craig Carlisle Allen

My regular meetings with Craig at The Winsor School were some of my most enjoyable moments here at the school. He was so interesting to talk to, whether about the work we were doing together, our UConn-Duke rivalry, or the books we were reading. He was a beautiful writer and an earnest advocate for students. He left the world having made a huge impact on everyone he met.

My deepest condolences. This is beautiful obituary. For over 20 years, Craig was an important mentor to me, and a very good friend. I will miss him and will think of him any time I read a very long recommendation letter. Will be in NC on the 25th to join you in raising a glass to Craig!
