Craig Jesmer Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 20, 2025.
In loving memory of Craig Philip Jesmer September 15,1964-September 15,2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Craig, who left this world on his 61st birthday.

Born in Dallas, Texas to Bernard (Bernie) and Janie Jesmer. Craig grew up full of curiosity and creativity. From a young age he enjoyed classic boyhood adventures, but his true passion emerged while helping his grandfather in his fix-it shop. The experience sparked a lifelong love for building and repairing anything he could get his hands on. At just 8 years old, Craig launched a lawn mowing business showcasing an entrepreneurial spirit that would follow him throughout his life.

Craig had many passions over the years: Racing motocross, RC cars and go-karts as well as playing guitar in a rock band. Whatever he set his mind to, he gave it his all. He was a kind and quiet soul, known for his brilliant mind, endless curiosity and eagerness to teach and share his knowledge with others.

A graduate of North Garland High School and The University of Texas at Dallas, Craig began his career working in his family's home-building business before transitioning into the auto collision industry where he found continued success and satisfaction.

In July 2013, Craig married the love of his life, Lisa Young, who he fondly referred to as his "beautiful bride". Their bond was a deep and enduring one.

Above all, Craig was a devoted and proud father to his daughters, Shannon Gaskins and Avery Jesmer.

Craig is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; his daughters, Shannon and Avery; his sisters, Shannon Jesmer and Heather Miller; and their children. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Fittingly, Craig left this world the same day he entered it, and even in passing, he gave the ultimate gift-life to others through organ donation.

A small celebration of life will be held in Southern Oregon and will be announced at a later date.

Just a great guy. Handled our transition from working to retired with such kindness. So loved his family and talked about how lucky he was to find Lisa. So sorry and sad! Howard and Judy Phearson
