Craig J. Liberatore

I just received the news of Craig and am so saddened. He always made me laugh. Such a wonderful person!

Liberatore Family,

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I taught Craig at Alpha

and remember his great sense of humor, his success in academics and sports. He was a joy to teach.

Please know Craig and your family are in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. We have lost touch in recent years but I have many memories of Craig from my childhood. My prayers are with you.

I grew up in your neighborhood and remember playing little league baseball one year with Craig -- and being so impressed with how tall he was -- and he was a pretty decent player to boot.

I couldn't agree more with one of the messages here that Craig was a "gentle giant" - that was one of the things I loved about him. I am very sorry for your loss. I had only brief interactions with Craig in school related meetings, but in those few conversations I grew to know him to be a sensitive and caring soul. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Hopefully you will remember me. Through the passage of time, it is inevitable that you lose contact with many childhood friends. Even though, you were good friends in school, you take different paths, and convince yourself that you will stay in touch. Unfortunately, that rarely happens. It is always in the back of your mind, that you should contact the friend that was so important to you during your formative years. In our busy lives you always think there is more time. Sadly, that is not always the case.

I have many fond memories of Craig and your family; playing basketball and being an altar boy with Craig at Alpha, the hospitality when I stayed at your home, and the memory I will never forget, the 1979 Pirate World Series games, that you graciously took me to. I will always associate that enduring and exhilarating experience with Craig. These and many other memories are permanently etched in my memory.

Regrettably I had not contacted Craig in twenty-six years, but I am heartened that Craig appeared to accomplish so much. I am truly saddened by this news and I hope God will give you solace in your loss.
