Dear Rolla and family:

My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family for the loss of your beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Rolla, you were a rock for your dad these past couple of years. And, even when his memory was failing him, you were always that beacon of light he recognized. Take heart in knowing that he knew you were there with him and for him.

Dear Dad:
I will reluctantly accept the news of your passing. I know you missed mom and held as long as you could. We appreciate the incredible strength, love, and caring you have shown to us over the years. Thank you and mom both for rescuing me and educating me to become a bridge of hope to others. Rest assured that I will forever treasure your trail blazing bravery. May this burning candle symbolize your unselfish determination to illuminate others' paths. Yours and mom's legacy will live in my heart for the rest of my life. Rest in Eternal Peace, Old Soldier!

Bety, please accept my condolences on Craig's passing. He was a wonderful man, just as dashing in his later years, when we met him, as in his younger photos, and a warm and lovely man. We're sorry we lost contact -- our Christmas card of a few years ago came back undeliverable -- but Joe and I, until his passing in December 2014, often spoke fondly of you and Craig and hoped you were happy wherever you were. We had wonderful times with you two and both Joe and I recognized you and Craig as true friends.
