Craig Alan Olsen, 70, of Tucson, AZ, originally from Marshalltown, IA, passed away April 4 at Brookdale Tanque Verde of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) with his devoted wife by his side.

Born January 9, 1955 in Marshalltown, IA to Charles Olsen and Arlene (Riemenschneider) Olsen. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1973, Marshalltown Community College in 1975 and Northwest Missouri State with a BS in Business Administration and Marketing in 1977. After working briefly with Stewart Construction, Craig began his career with Lennox Industries remaining there for 37 years. As a territory sales manager, he worked with residential and commercial dealers, architects and engineers, covering territories including Bismark, ND, Minneapolis, MN, Des Moines, IA, Omaha, NE and Kansas City, KS. Throughout his career he received several sales awards including the L Award (top sales). He retired in 2015 and moved to Tucson in 2016.

Craig met Sheri Ferguson in 1977 and they married in 1986. He participated in various sports including baseball, football, basketball and track in school, later adding slo-pitch softball, volleyball, golf and jogging. Craig and Sheri loved to travel visiting many sites worldwide. His favorite destination second home was on Lake of the Woods, in Sioux Narrows, ON, Canada where they spent many vacations and retirement years fishing, exploring the lake and playing cards with relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Linda Olsen Woolsey, parents-in-law Kenneth and Maxine Ferguson and brother-in-law, Kregg Ferguson.

Craig is survived by wife, Sheri (Tucson, AZ), half-sister, Barbara Herzberg (Scottsdale, AZ), brothers-in-law, Kirk Woolsey (Goodyear, AZ) and Kent (Nancy) Ferguson (Thornton, CO), sister-in-law, Doris Ferguson (Altoona, IA), nephews and nieces Brett (Jen) Hotz, (Colorado Springs, CO), MacKenzie (Mike) Mesher, (Maple Grove, MN), Julie (Todd) Eipperle, (Ankeny, IA), Kevin (Karen) Ferguson, (Vista, CA), Denise (Larry) Flickinger, (Traer, IA), Dawn Ferguson, (Newton, IA) as well as extended relatives.

Funeral services will be held April 29 at 10:30 am at the Tanque Verde Lutheran Church chapel, 8625 E. Tanque Verde Rd, Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to CurePSP. Craig's brain tissue has been donated to CurePSP through Mayo Clinic for neurological research. A gathering in Marshalltown, IA is being planned for the near future.

Craig ( O ) and Sheri were great friends and neighbors up North in Canada. Spent many Summers enjoying Lake of Woods! Craig will be missed but we'll always have many good memories. Prayers for Sheri and family.
