Craig Ray Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 27, 2017.
Craig Michael Ray, age 40, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Craig was born on December 8, 1976 in Waco, TX and has been a resident of Marlin most of his life. Craig pursued careers in construction, the oil field industry, and was working as a supply chain associate at L3 in Waco, TX

Craig enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a true outdoorsman. He also enjoyed dancing, playing dominoes, and from some accounts, played a mean shuffleboard game. Craig was loved by so many and, with his "crooked smile", was always the life of the party. He was a friend, brother and son to many.
Grandparents Reverend Andrew and Marie Bratcher and H.T. and Ruby Ray, as well as uncle Gary Ray, precede him in passing.

Craig is survived by his mother and stepfather, Carol and Bobby Bullock; his father Charles Ray; his sister and brother-in-law Catherine and Michael Wolfe and their children Meagan, Travis and Addyson; his brother and sister-in-law Carey and Tasha Ray and their children Carey and Stephen; his brother and sister-in-law Chris and Lori Ray and their children Austin, Easton and Kaitlyn. His uncle and aunt Tim and Dana Bratcher, three cousins and their families also survive him.

Funeral service for Craig will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church in Marlin. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin.

Pallbearers: Michael Wolfe, Barry Shefa, Caleb Woycheshin, Michael Cox, Brad Meece, David Stein, Jason Ford, Ryan Collins. Honorary Pallbearers: Carey Ray and Chris Ray.
