A beautiful remembrance of a beautiful soul. I did not know him but reading this and seeing his Instagram he has touched and inspired me. Thank you and love to his people.

I saw your post on reddit and am deeply moved by your story, Craig, and Im sure you're family knows how much you mean to them, in this short time it seems you meant a lot to even a stranger like me leagues away.

Oof. Craig, you were the best of the best. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to have known you, learned from you, laughed with you, griped with you, and rocked with you. The world is a better place because you lived in this mortal coil. If anyone can make a positive impact on our current state of affairs, posthumously, it´s you... so, thank you in advance for your ghost advocacy. Sending so much love to Shannon, the rest of your family, and those of us who, through minor or major interactions, now have a sparkle of magic in our souls from having met you

Dearest Craig,

I can't believe you have departed this Earthly life. It was way to soon. You shared your journey so bravely, and eloquently, while navigating an awful illness.

I am so glad our paths crossed at UEA. You always seemed like a thoroughly likeable and smart and funny guy. It is very touching to read all the tributes to you.

You clearly had a huge impact on those closest to you and I am sure many others as well.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Shannon and it's clear that so many of your mutual family and friends, while keenly feeling your loss, are also comforted by all of the amazing memories of you and finding strength in each other. May you rest peacefully.

Craig, thank you for your calm and delightfully long winded way of speaking, peppered with such subtle deadpan jokes that one could easily miss them. You had a way with words, dashing off sparkling sentences with a humble pomposity that was classically British. (I´m sorry I seem to have already called you long winded and pompous in the first paragraph of this tribute, it´s just a bit of banter as I´m sure you understand!) Thank you for your peaceful aura and joyful presence even when you were experiencing pain that most of us can´t fathom. Thank you for your generous hospitality of a home cooked meal, strong drinks, and personal poetry recitation. Thank you for sharing in the joy of our wedding, and forcing us all to do laughing yoga at yours! Most of all thank you for loving Shannon, your love together has been a pleasure to behold. We will take care of her now that you´re gallivanting off among the stars.

I remember Craig talking about how much he loved Modest Mouse, and dj ing with his friend and dancing in Framingham/Natick Mass. I remember Craig´s love for his dear friends at home in Amherst Mass. Condolences to all who loved him. The Robertsons

Good bye my sweet poet boy. In life as in death, you taught me how to look at life's abundance vs scarcity. I will miss you.

The universe has lost an extraordinary human. Wishing much strength for Shannon and her family and friends much strength in coping with this loss.
