Craig E. Waring

CANTERBURY – Craig E. Waring, 41, of Canterbury passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016.

Craig was born in Stoughton, Mass. to Raymond J. and Maryann (Gillis) Waring. He was raised in Hillsboro and was a graduate of Hillsboro-Deering High School Class of '93. Following high school, Craig attended classes at NHTI, where he played baseball then later graduated from Keene State College with a bachelor's degree in health & safety. Craig remained in the field of health & safety for several years until deciding to make a career change. He was hired on as a manager at Central NH Cleaning Services and also worked as a Regional Agent with Gateways Community Services, a non-profit organization in Nashua. Craig enjoyed staying active! A lifelong athlete he was an avid baseball player. He played basketball and also enjoyed fitness and weight lifting. He was as a member of the Concord Men's Baseball League until 2015 and had recently taken up golf. He was a passionate Red Sox fan and loved going to Fenway Park. He also loved the Patriots and enjoyed going to games and concerts with his friends. Craig treasured his family, his friends, and his beloved cat, Paws. He possessed a clever, dry wit and was always trying to make people laugh. Though Craig is now gone, the joy and laughter he brought to the world will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Craig is survived by his loving parents, Raymond and Maryann Waring of Loudon; his cherished siblings, Donna M. Waring of Warner, Raymond M. Waring of Newbury and Lisa M. Lewis of New Boston; his nieces and nephews whom he adored, Brian, Angela, Kerryann, Kayla, Jordan and Madyson; his aunt, Jean "Gidge" Stapleton of Wells, Maine with whom he shared a very special bond; and other aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service celebrating Craig's life will be held on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 180 Loudon Road, Concord N.H. Please feel free to wear a Red Sox jersey/shirt in honor of Craig.
