The news of Craig's death saddens me. I had the great pleasure of being his room mate when were students at Interlochen Arts Academy in the late 60's. More important he was a brilliant cellist, who played on my senior recital at the academy, and a wonderful room mate. Although no longer with us on this earthly journey, I'm sure that those who loved him most miss him dearly. To them, I extend my warmest condolences.

I still consider Craig one of my best friends. We were neighbors in Portage and in orchestra together in school. He helped me learn the guitar, and we used to sit around and sing Beatle songs. My condolences to the family.

Craig was a dear friend when we were in our teens. He really encouraged me in my cello playing.

We´ve lost a warm, loving soul. Craig´s sound reflected that warmth and he was an absolute joy to play with on and off stage. Our heartfelt condolences to all reading this.

Listening to Craig play the cello felt like being in the presence of God in heaven. It gave me goosebumps. And now he is in His Presence.

Craig was my cello instructor when I was an early teen. Hard to remember for how long, but I remember my mom dropping me off at the apartment complex off Meredith Drive in Portage. He must have been in between a couple of the amazing places he shared his talents. He taught me much, and that gave me confidence in my abilities. I´ve thought of him many times when I´ve heard some fine cello...it might have been Craig! My condolences to his family and friends.

When Craig was about seven, he had to practice piano right after school before joining the guys waiting in the yard. Sitting next to him above the keys on his left was his baseball mitt, so he was ready to go when the timer rang. His mom wanted him to forgo baseball to save his beautiful fingers; his godmother, my mother Gina, wanted him to enjoy his childhood, but she also acknowledged that he was a truly gifted musician even then.
