Crawford "Red" Landry Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 12, 2015.
Crawford "Red" Joseph Landry, a native of Lake Charles and a resident of Bayou L'Ourse passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. He was 77.
Red leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 57 years, Barbara David Landry; four children, Lynn Landry, David Landry, Paula Landry, and Rose Landry Charpentier and her husband, Mark; six grandchildren, Mitzi, Megan, Dallas, Justin, Taylor, and Raylin; numerous great grandchildren, Dre', Larell, Laken, Kara, and Ave; and three siblings, Jean Landry, Linda Faye, and Margie Tarver.
He joins in heaven his parents, Crawford and Ella Landry; his brother, Floyd Landry; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Red took pride in being a dedicated employee of Halliburton for 23 years. He proudly served in the Louisiana National Guard. In his spare time, he enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, and going to high school rodeos with his kids. Red served on the Assumption Parish Water Board for 12 years and was a proud resident of Bayou L'Ourse. He will be forever missed but never forgotten.
A visitation of remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 10am until time of services at Hargrave Funeral Home. A Rosary and Memorial Service will be held for Red on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 2pm at Hargrave Funeral Home.

Red (my good brother-in-law; Margie's brother) gave me a pair of boots a while back that he no longer needed... for me to wear while riding my Harley motorcycle. Well those boots have made it through a few states, putting many miles on them. I'll continue putting more miles on them. His memory will live on and ride on with me. He will be missed, that's for sure! GOD Bless the Family and give us Peace.
