Cris Lane Green

Cris Lane Green, age 70 passed away on Oct. 6th, 2024, at his home in Medford Oregon.

Cris was born to John and Darlene Green on April 25th, 1954, bringing the total count to two children. The family would eventually become a family of 6. Calvin, Cris, Curt, and Tami. Cris spent his childhood in the Central Point area and graduated from Crater High School in 1972. The outdoors was a very important part of Cris' life. Cris grew up hunting with his family and extended family parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a few close friends were all part of the hunting trips. In addition to hunting Cris loved water skiing and camping in Oregon outdoors. Cris' love for the outdoors started at a young age and continues now through his children.

After high school Cris began working for Pacific Metal, Cris continued to work there for the better part of 35 years. A large part of Cris' life that he took pride in was that he remodeled or built every house that he owned over the years. For a grand total of 4 remodels and 2 ground up builds. Cris married Barbara on June 18th, 1985, in his childhood family home on Grant Road in Central Point, creating a blended family of Laurie, Troy and Terry (Terence). Ryan was born to Cris and Barbara on December 5th, 1986. Tavis rounded out the family on July 10th, 1988. As his family grew up Cris enjoyed family camping, one of the high points of this lifelong passion was a trip to Glacier National Park.

Cris was preceded in death by his Dad, John Green, in 1987 and mother, Darlene Green, in 2016.

Cris is survived by his wife Barbara Green

Children Laurie Lipe, Troy Romine, Terry Wiley, Ryan Green and Tavis Green.

Grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wiley, Axle Wiley, Heston Green, Declan Green, Cheyenne Green, Adley Green, Kinsley Green.

A celebration of life will be held at the Lake Creek Pioneer Hall, 1739 S Fork Little Butte Creek Rd, Eagle Point, OR 97524 at 11:00am on Oct 26th 2024
