Cristian Londono Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 19, 2025.
Cristian D. Londono (Kiki), 45, of Stanhope, NJ passed away on Sunday, August 10th, 2025 at 11:11 am after a 2 year battle with colon cancer. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Cristian was born on June 10, 1980 in Manizales, Colombia to parents Graciela Ramirez and Oscar Londono. Although Colombia is part of his proud heritage, he planted his roots and has been a resident of Stanhope, NJ for nearly all of 36 years.

Cristian was a graduate and state football champion of Lenape Valley Regional High School's class of 2000 and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University. He spent his career in sales and was last employed at Gefran for 5 years as a Northeast Regional Sales Manager. He was an asset to his company and fostered positive working relationships with all his coworkers.

Above all, his greatest pride and love were his wife and children. He was a man of deep faith, devoted to God, and lived his life with love, kindness, and purpose. Cristian was the definition of everything good. He found happiness and joy in coaching football for his son, listening to his daughter sing and watching her do competitive cheer, spending time on his boat, and sharing moments with family and friends. Affectionately known as "Kiki" by his loved ones, Cristian was the life of the party, the King of dad jokes, one-liners, and dance moves. His infectious smile and contagious laugh would radiate any room. Cristian's compassion towards others was consistently shown by him always putting everyone else first, regardless of what he was going through. Though he was a man of few words he always knew exactly what to say to make someone feel heard, loved, and special.

Cristian is survived by his beloved wife Rebecca (Ortega), his devoted children Isabella (18) and Noah (12); sister Ximena Andrea Granada and her husband Luis Granada; sister Katelyn Corvelli and her husband Nicholas Corvelli; brother Joshua Waer and his wife Liza Waer; brother Ryan Waer and stepmother Barbara Desio; grandparents Oscar Londono and his wife Gabriella Londono. He was also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and godchildren that he cared for and loved dearly.

A mass in Cristian's honor will be held on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 at 10:00 am, at Saint Michael's Church, 4 Church Street, Netcong, NJ.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider donating to any cancer charity in his name or to his family's GoFundMe to help with funeral costs and medical expenses.
