CRISTINA JIMENEZ

Cristina Jimenez, 69, loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016. Cristina was a retired school bus driver from the El Paso Independent School District. She is preceded in death by her mother, Felia Garcia and her son, Efren Lorenzo Jimenez. Cristina is survived by her children Concepcion Jimenez-Flores, Ana Maria Jimenez and Armando Jimenez; her father Ruben Garcia, her ex-husband and friend Juan Jimenez, sisters Gloria Gonzalez, Leticia Garcia and brothers, Miguel Garcia and Jose Gonzalez. She is also survived by her grandchildren Arturo Javier Quintero, Viviana Corina Corrales, Antonio Efren Quintero and Javier Jimenez, great grandchildren Aaliyah Quintero, Alyssa Quintero, Annalisa Lopez and Karina Castillo and her beloved doggy, Shorty Jimenez. Cristina was strong as a tree under which her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren always found comfort, strength and love. She will be greatly missed by all. The Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Kaster-Maxon & Futrell Funeral Home with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 12th at 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church followed by burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
