Curt D. DeVost

Hey big guy, I really need help with this one. You know what I'm talking about because you can see what's going on. I need someone who cares, I feel like I'm going through all of this alone. And I miss you because you were always just a quick phone call away. And now that you're not, I wish I called you more often. No one will really understand what you did for me, and how much it all meant to me, I'm not sure if anyone will be able to compare. But i miss you a lot, and I'm really going through a struggle right now and I'm hoping when I wake up I can have more energy. I can wake up and feel refreshed like I know what it is i need to do to get through it all. Please help me out. Love always, Nolan

Curt, I'm glad that I had the chance to meet you. Even though I've had the chance to know you for a short time it was nice spending time with you and Joan. I did not get much time to know you but when I first met you, you let me into your home and made me feel like part of your family. In the time I did get to know you I realized that you were a very caring man that loved your family unconditionally, you are going to be greatly missed and loved by all.

I will never forget the time when we were going to the Rangers game but couldn't get tickets. We ended up at the IMAX Theater watching Down Parascope… pretty sure gram didn't think that choice was appropriate, but it's one of my happiest memories. Thank you for being a wonderful grandfather, I love you and will miss you.

Grandpa, we all miss you so very much!! I am blessed for the time we had you in our lives. I've said it a million times, and I will say it a million more, but I remember something missing in our family when I was younger. I didn't know what it was until I saw you and Grandma together for the first time. My understanding of family changed then. You loved everyone around you genuinely and unconditionally, you gave us each guidance and encouragement and that's what I will remember most. I know you're in a better place and that you will be watching over each of us until we meet again. I Love you so much!

No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it and only god knows why. Grandpa words cannot explain how much you meant to me, you believed in me even when I did not. I will cherish my memories that I have of all the time we spent together. You encouraged me with many things but most importantly with my culinary dreams. That meant so much and I will not let you down; I will keep my head high and stay strong because I know you wouldn't want it any other way. I will miss you, we all will.
Grandpa taught me you can't get through life with arm floaties on, you have to take them off and jump right in. It might be scary but he will always be there even if you think he is not.

Curt Devost was a good grandfather of mine, we both loved the Giants, he would joke with me, but the number one thing is that I loved him and he loved me. Well your in another place now grandpa and I miss you very much. when your looking down at us grandpa I want you to know I will do my best to help Grandma, I love and miss you Grandpa!!!!
