Hi Husband, thank you for the "visits" yesterday! I just look up and say, "I know that was you" The dime from nowhere, the song, the eagles, the man who asked me my name. I said Nancy he said...nice to meet you, my name is Curt. <3 I just had to ask him..."with a "C" or a "K"? It was with a "c" All of these things happened in one day....Yesterday. Well it is your favorite season...deer hunting. I hope you deer hunt in heaven. With you Mom and your Dad now. You have been in my thoughts a lot. Maddy and her BF moved home He has a small child and she has taken on a step parent role. It is a lot for her, but she is doing so good. The little one is adorable and Maddy is so good with her. Gives her baths, does her curly hair, cooks her food and attempts to teach her respect and manners Maddy is the joy of my heart and I love having her home. I sure wish you were here. I have retired from the prison...20 years! I will have to work somewhere, but not there! I wish we could be traveling now. Ang and Mke went to Cancun just this week. I get jealous of their long life together sometimes. Every long marriage, really. I feel cheated...we were! I long to join you all up there. Your Pops, now. He never was the same after you and then Judy. I am glad he is with you. I love your and will be missing you more this week than usual. Til“ we ride again, my love xoxo

still missing you. forever my husband, my children's Dad, my other half. I miss hearing the word "dad" in my home. I miss you in my bed. Even your snoring! I feel resentments when I see couples celebrating anniversaries and milestones with their kids. I need you to help me make decisions. I need you by my side and I just miss you so much. I miss us. I had cancer!! I thought for sure I would be joining you in the heavens. But I have to stay here for a while yet. I am still needed here. But so are you. Your kids miss you. Your daughter. Anyhow....we just miss us...all of us as a family. I love you, CLB

Here it is. The last entry. It has been a tough journey for us w/out you. We feel you at times. I have learned what it means to be with someone spiritually, not in the physical world but the spiritual sense. You show yourself to me everyday and I talk to you often. Our life now remembered in our photo's, stories, hearts and sleepy time dreams. I struggle to hold on to it ALL. I never want to forget your sense of loyalty to all you knew and loved. Your family (wife, children, Dad/Judie, Mom, sisters, brothers, hunting family, friends and your club brothers) you loved us all with such honesty and trueness. I will carry that proudness with me forever and a day. I long to feel you soft kiss, your warm arms around me, to hear your silliness (hear that goose), to see you (hear you!) ride into the driveway on our Harley and yes, even to hear that noisy C-PAP machine at night! Curt, I said goodbye and feel like I turned around and you were gone. I LOVE YOU<3 I will be strong for our three children. I will see them through their lives, but know that this does not end HERE I fully intend to see you again and finish this....TOGETHER. Until we meet again........I hate saying goodbye, but goodbye love, for now.

My condolences. Over time it does get easier to deal with. Just hang on to your memories. I went through my wife's death 2 years before and the pain does subside but I live on with the great memories we had. Just cherish the time you had with him.

times heals is what they say...I don't believe it. That stupid saying must have been said by someone who never experienced loss.

Awe Curt your so very missed by your family and our family. You stand by because your still needed at home. Theres no time limit to missing someone you love and miss. I see Nancy misses you dearly. She lost a piece of her heart that day. Everyone that loves you did. Way to young to go. Love ya man.

August 13, 2013

still loving and missing you babe. We are holding on here at home....feeling you with us and remembering you.

April 24, 2013

Still missing you very very much. I love you. Hard to believe your gone from me/us. So many reminders...pepsi, sicker than a dog, Perkins, Harleys, deer in the field, your recliner, your vest and headband, ... now its become all the "first's" w/out you. First Thanksgiving, first Xmas, first Valentines, first bday, first Freemen event, first visit to Vets camp....on and on. What will I do? I miss you so much. I will always be missin' you. You were the best. If I could have just one more day I would tell you I love you, your awesome. I would kiss your warm soft lips and I would ask for one more day. Sorry you had to go. Watch over us & visit often. Let us know your here with us any way you can. O.K.? Wait for me. See you when it is my time. I love you always.
