Curtis Cudaback Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 30, 2022.
Curtis Wayne Cudaback, 37, died on November 20, 2022, in Arlington Texas.

Curtis was born on December 17, 1984, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. He graduated from Keller High School in 2004 where he lettered as an Athletic Trainer. Curtis was a very kind and loving person and had a big heart, a trait he left to his son Noah. He was very proud of Noah and loved him very much. He was an avid University of Nebraska fan and a Husker for life. He loved NASCAR and idolized Dale Earnhardt Jr and was also a huge Texas Rangers fan.

Curtis left this life way too early. Like so many others, Curtis struggled with life but was always upbeat and dreamed about a better time. He will be missed by all his family.

Today, Curtis is in a better place. He was met by so many other family members he knows that welcomed him with open arms. He is no longer struggling. He arrived whole and happy. The memories he left with us will never be forgotten.

Curtis was preceded in death by his grandfather Thomas "TJ" McPherson, grandfather Wayne Cudaback, grandmother Marianne Schmitt, Cousin's Brian Dowell and Wesley Hixson. He is survived by son Noah Cudaback, father and mother Brian and Laura Cudaback of Keller TX, sister Megan and Tony Burross of Rhome TX, Niece McKynlee Burross and nephew McCoy Burross, Grandmother Barbara McPherson of Hurst, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1pm, Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Keller United Methodist Church in Keller, TX 76248. In lieu of flowers you are asked to donate to the Keller UMC Resource Center which provides food and clothing for others in need.

We are very sorry for your loss, our loss. Curtis was so tenderhearted. Though we didn't see him as often as we would have liked, every time I did, he would ask with teary eyes about Brad. His concern and compassion will not be forgotten during our difficult time. We hold in our hearts the excitement he displayed at his high school graduation party. He graduated, was in love, and had a scholarship. He was so stinking happy.
Curtis, we love you. Until we meet again, love Aunt Susan and Uncle Roy

Curtis I "adopted" you as my son years ago and always have loved you and your smiling face. We had so much fun together when you came to our farm to hang out. I have a picture of you holding a tray of hail balls in my horse riding helmet to keep the hail from bruising your head while you ran out in the hail to collect the largest hail balls! We laughed so hard at you seeing the hail bounce off your helmet. You are loved and your memory will be cherished.

I´ll always remember him smiling. I´m glad I had the opportunity to work with and mentor him during his time at Metro Fire. He was a funny, upbeat, caring person with a big heart! We got to know each other during our times on the road going from FD to FD working on Holmatro tools and we would have to stop at every McDonalds on the way so that he could collect a monopoly ticket, LOL!!! We had some fun! I know he´s in a better place surrounded by those he loved, Love ya bro, you will be missed. TRUCK´EM EAZY...
