Frieda,
Danny & I are so very sorry for your and your family's loss. Curtis was a good man and a good friend. Praying for God's love, strength and comfort for you and all your friends and loved ones. I know it's very hard to lose those we love in this life, but when we all get to heaven we'll all be together for eternity. We'll all have new bodies, never to die again. So very sorry Frieda....

There are so many good things to say Curtis, but one thing I no for sure you loved your family and that is something to be proud of.. another is you come from the good ole boy network.. and for those of you who do not no what that is.. Its where you help each other out and do not expect anything in return..there are a few left now but not to many.. You welcomed everyone and made us all laugh.. I'm sure you are filling everyone in on the goings on here .. tell Dad I said hello.. till I see you again.. Toodles Governor..
Til we meet again !

My love, my life. My heart is broke and I will try to carry on as you asked but your memories will stay within my heart always. Not only did you give your family everything you had to give but your friends and the Ironworkers Local 597 as well. One thing I could not complain about with you was being lazy. You very a ferrous work-alcoholic to provide for your family and that showed your love more than the words you could have spoke from your lips. I will love you until the end of time. Your wife, your mate, your friend for 45 years.

It's hard to believe that Curtis is gone at such an early age.
I have good memories of us on shutdowns as Ironworkers at the mills,
and other jobs. Our condolences to the family of Curtis.

Wow to much to say so I will try to simplify my thoughts and prayers...Uncle Curtis We all love u so much and will miss you even more. When the family would get together, no matter how big or small you and aunt freida could be counted on without even talking to you beforehand. That Is what a trooper you both were and aunt freida still is....I know you are in a better place and you did hold to your promise to all your grandkids, you took kemo to hold on to memories and now its time for you to rest and be with other family members awaiting for you and the rest of us....GONE but never forgotten I love and miss so much. You're up there fishin' and although we miss you greatly, we know you're in a good place having a good time looking down on us. Your life was entirely too short, but thoroughly enjoyed. If we could live and accomplish half of what you did we will be livin' large. We miss you so much and can't wait to join you one day. Be sure to keep you're eye on us we'll be thinking of you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. How very difficult and what a blessing that you had the time with him to tell him how you loved him and how much he would be missed. God bless all of you. I love that the obituary says his grandchildren are his fishing buddies.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
