Mr. Curtis Glenn Rawlinson, 56, of Ferris, Texas passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 while in the company of family members at his residence. Curtis was born in Lufkin, Texas on June 21, 1954, the son of the late Curtis and Cleo Mathis Rawlinson. He worked as a truck driver at Glazier Foods. He was married to Donna Coulter on Sept. 5, 2001. His hobbies were fishing, nascar and Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys and he loved riding his motorcycle. Curtis is survived by his wife, Donna Rawlinson of Ferris, Texas; two sons, Terry and wife Sara Rawlinson of Sevierville, Tennessee, Corey and wife April Rawlinson of Lufkin, Texas; stepsons, Eric and Autumn Morris of Waxahachie, Texas, Bradley Morris of Ferris, Texas; stepdaughter, Alisha and Chance Rushing of Frost, Texas. He is also survived by four sisters, Jerrie and Tim Brookshire of Lufkin, Texas, Cathy Thomas of Mesquite, Texas, Dot and Dwight Lyons of Lufkin, Texas, Velda and John Ward of Sugarland, Texas; granddaughters, Alyssa and Faith Rawlinson, grandson, Travis Rawlinson all of Sevierville, Texas, granddaughter, Emma Rawlinson of Lufkin, Texas; step-granddaughters, Alison Watson and Caithen Watson both of Lufkin, Texas, step-granddaughters, Taylor Morris, Lilly Smith; step-grandsons, William Morris, Phillip Morris and step-granddaughters, Raelynn Morris, Rebecca Morris, all of Waxahachie, Texas; step-grandson, Haven Rushing of Frost, Texas, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Ferris. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 at Green Funeral Home with Dr. Bobby Adams officiating. Interment at Bells Chapel Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Green Funeral Home.
