Cynthia Brinker

Cindi Brinker, 66, of Muskogee answered her Savior’s call to join Him for eternity, Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at Bradley Funeral Service. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Boulevard Christian Church with Reverend John Sokolis officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery with Joe Shorb, Steve Brinker, Roger Brinker, Robert Brinker, Andrew Brinker and Bubba Miller serving as pallbearers.Cynthia Lynn Marinelli was born December 15, 1941 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Leonard and Barbara (Lantz) Marinelli. She married Larry Brinker September 16, 1983 in Fort Smith, AR. Cindi was in the first graduating nursing class from Connors State College. She worked as a Registered Nurse at numerous hospitals including Tahlequah City Hospital and Hastings Hospital. Cindi and Larry provided a loving home for foster children for over six years. Throughout her life, Cindi used her decorating talents and especially enjoyed selecting furnishings for the new home she and Larry recently built.Cindi is survived by her devoted husband, Larry of the home; her parents Leonard and Barbara Marinelli of Rockford, Illinois; her children, Steve Rogers of Chicago, Lonny Brinker of Redford, Michigan, and Shawna Shorb and her husband, Joe of Muskogee; her grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Tate, Isaac, Nissa, Isaiah and Hannah; as well as many cousins, friends and loved ones.
