Cindy, this world is a colder, harsher place without your warm smile and the love you showered on all who knew you. We knew each other since we were 18, rediscovered each other, and made many trips together...to Alaska, Canada, Costa Rica, Washington, and even Lake George. You felt like family to me, and my daughters have fond memories of you. May you be an advocate for us who remain, as you have been all your life. Ann and Aiden, you have my deepest sympathies and comfort in this difficult time. As we say in Hebrew, "Yehi, Zichronah Baruch." May her memory be a blessing.

It was always clear that in a room with Cindy she would have the easy smile. Never a bad comment and always a good compliment. That stands out as she was fighting the painful challenges of aging. She was always there through thick and thin in support of Ann, Aiden and all her friends and family. All our love and condolences from the Brady family

I had the pleasure of working with Cindy at the New York State Bar Association. She is a wonderful person, and I will miss her. My heartfelt sympathies to all her two and four-legged family and friends.

Cindy was a colleague of mine at the New York State Bar Association, where she was a highly regarded proofreader. She was a stickler for grammar and accuracy, but more than that she was a friend -- a very good friend. Howard Healy

Remembering many good times spent with Cindy over about 35 years. My husband Bob and I met Cindy and her wife, Ann, originally through a parents´ babysitting cooperative that our mutual friend Kristin helped to organize in Albany.

We met Ann & Cindy´s very young son Aiden and they met our son Jesse and later our daughter Leah when she was born in 1990.

When I was not working full time, I often got together for coffee with Cindy and friends of ours, such as Reesa and Kristin and others.

Cindy was such a smart, compassionate loving soul. She was a great editor and taught my husband some freelance writing skills. Cindy had a great sense of humor and cared about other people. We shared a great love for dogs.

When Bob and I moved to Troy a year ago. We got together with Cindy and Ann a few times more easily, now that we live in a first floor, accessible apartment, and we only wish we could all have gotten together more often.

I treasure these memories.
