She was my neighbor for many years when I was growing up in NE Portland. My mother and her were close. She was there for us when my mom passed away in 2004. My wife and I would always exchange Christmas cards with her every year. God bless you Cynthia you will be missed.

Cynthia had a curious mind, a thoughtful tongue, an eye for beauty, and great skill in finding fun things to share online. I treasured my visits with her and will miss her deeply.

My dear friend Cynthia was a true naturalist. An alchemist in the kitchen. She´d come up with all kinds of unique spice blends. Fresh ginger was always at the top of the list. Fresh herbs, beans, fresh produce, cheeses and of course, Chocolate. She studied plants, right Down to their chemical compounds. She had a wonderful garden. She´d like to leave dried stocks in her garden so the birds would have a place to perch. She was a true lover of nature. She loved her family and friends too. Remembering you dear Cynthia with love and gladness for our friendship.
