Cynthia Carter Hamilton, 77, of Houston, Texas passed away on January 28, 2025 surrounded by her husband Mark Randall Palmer and sister Amanda Hamilton Myers.

Cynthia was born in Miami, Florida, the daughter of F. Conway and Anna Laurie Hamilton (Sanchez). She was a graduate of Southern Methodist University and had a 33 year career with Delta Airlines. Her sweet Schnauzers, Dudley, Chelsea, Marlena, and Schatzi were the loves of her life.

Cynthia is predeceased by her beloved father and mother and sister Laura (Lee) Hamilton Sawyer. She is survived by her husband Mark, sister Amanda, niece, Laura Broder, nephews James A. Sawyer and Christopher Myers, stepchildren Alexandra Connolley and Alastair Palmer.

A special thank you to her longtime friend John Leake and to the support and care Suzanne Davis, Kris Diaz, and the care givers who have been with Cynthia for the past few years.

I just found out that Cynthia had died. Although we lost touch after I moved to CA many years ago, I loved her. We had a big time flying for Delta together and just paling around. Blessings to her friends and family!
