Cynthia Haught Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 28, 2025.
Cynthia Marie Haught (née Krasny), age 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Pahrump, Nevada, on May 25, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis.

Born on October 19, 1953, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Cindy was the daughter of Ted and Phyllis Krasny. She graduated from Assumption High School in Wisconsin Rapids and later pursued further education at Clark County Community College in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Cindy was a loving and caring wife and mother whose strength, independence, and compassion left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Her life was marked by resilience and warmth, qualities that guided her through both joyful moments and life's challenges.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Aaron Osborne and Eric Osborne; her daughter-in-law Kathy Osborne; her stepchildren Brittany Meesawat and her husband Paul Meesawat, and Brandon Haught. Cindy's legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Zoie and Chloie Osborne, Nathan and Natalie Meesawat, and Louie Haught.

She is also survived by her siblings: Tom Krasny and his wife Betty; Donald Krasny and his wife Joan; Mary Mrochek and her husband Jerry. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Phyllis Krasny.

Cindy found great joy in traveling to new places, casting a line while fishing, and showcasing her culinary talents in chili cook-offs. These passions brought color to her life and created fond memories for those fortunate enough to share them with her.

In accordance with Cindy's wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. A private celebration of life will be held with immediate family at a later date.

May the memory of Cynthia Marie Haught bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

Mark, I'm so sorry. I loved Cindy. She was fun to work with and fun to hang out at chili cookoffs. It won't be the same for you anymore. We don't really do cookoffs anymore, but I have a lot of remembrances. Please take care and let me know if there's anything I can do.

Mark, I am so sorry to hear of Cindy´s passing. She was a wonderful person that I was privileged to have called my friend. It´s been many years since I have seen Cindy but I thought of her often and fondly. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
