Fenella Cannell
Both Cindy and Allen were unfailingly kind, patient and generous with their time when I was living with my (then) young family in Ithaca. I think of them both often, with gratitude for their intelligent and thoughtful guidance, and warm appreciation for their hospitality and that of their wider family.

Cindy was and is a dear soul - thoughtful, helpful, kind. Very shortly after Allen died she went to the effort to attend a Lambert family reunion at Bear Lake. She stayed in a rented home with a number of the Lambert siblings and lovingly shared the gathering with us. Our mother, who was about 100 and somewhat disoriented, also stayed in the home and Cindy very kindly helped her. Cindy always expanded her efforts to include us as part of her family, even in difficult times. We share the grief of Enoch and Sara, but find some comfort in the knowledge that she is free from the pain and disabilities she so nobly endured in the last few years. May God bless her memory.
