I will treasure our friendship for the rest of my days! I feel so blessed to have had you by my side for the past 49 years. What a beautiful blessing you have been to me and my family and to so many others. We were there for each other through all of the good times and the tough times too. You were more like a sister than a friend. I will miss our 5 hour long coffee dates, our phone calls that lasted forever, and just having you here. You were a wonderful wife to Mike and an amazing mama to Blayne, Reed, Carson and Chandler. I love you girl and miss you so much!

Cindy had a beautiful smile and such a sweet soul. You could see how much she loved her family. Back in the day, we all practically lived at the baseball fields that was such great times and wonderful memories. She will always be remembered in our hearts. God Bless you all.

Cindy was an amazing wife, mother, and friend. My early years were filled with so much joy spending time with her and her family. I´m so grateful for the friendship she had with my mom. It´s a beautiful thing to have friendships that feel like family. You will be missed greatly, but I know you´re up there enjoying a coffee and catching up with my mom.

My beautiful, kind, courageous, loving sister Cindy has always been an encouragement and inspiration to me. When I think of Cindy I think of a Proverbs 31 woman - "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night... She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."
Thank you Cindy for being such a wonderful blessing in my life and the lives of so many. I love you with all my heart. Diane

Aunt Cindy, you were more like a cousin to Ken growing up and into adulthood. You made me comfortable every time I flew to CA since dating Kenny. You made my boys extremely comfortable when we visited your house and condo. I will never forget when you let my athletic boys from ND try your surf boards and you cheered louder and were happier than me about them getting up on a ocean surf board and said many people live here at the beach and never get up. You were so happy and proud for them and that truly showed me your soul. If you love my kids more than me, you have my heart. You truly did have a heart of gold and loved all your family. You made sure all had hydration and nourishing food. You were lovely I truly love you and I know Kenny is heart broken to lose such a wonderful Aunt. We will talk to you in heaven and please watch over my boys as they graduate high school and help them win games and graduate college. Keep teaching us, ok? Love you

My Deepest Sympathy and Prayers go out to the entire Montano Family. Words cannot express what a great loss of a beautiful soul. I met Cindy when I was six years old and she was five. My first day at Bonnie Oehl Elementary school I didn´t know anyone and she came up to me and asked if I wanted to play.
Growing up in Highland, CA we all ran Into each other shopping or running errands as well as our kids went to school together and played sports together. There has been many years of great memories with such a beautiful person. She will be missed by so many lives she has touched. Just look at her family and you can see what a great person she was and instilled that same greatness in her kids.
Mike, I am deeply saddened knowing your true love has left your side and knowing how hard this must be trying to figure out where you go from here. Please know you have so many friends that are here for you any time.
To Blayne, Reed, Carson and Chandler the next few days, months and years will be the hardest without your Mom. A hole that cannot be filled and feels like the world has stopped. Please know she loved you more than anything and you will always have a big part of her within you. Remember to honor her when grieving starts to get a little easier. She is looking down smiling.
To her Grandson Jax you were definitely the light of your Grandmas life. There is only one other love you have as great as your children and its grandchildren. She was blessed with seeing her own son through your wonderment and this fills the heart to the fullest. Whenever you miss her touch your heart, she is there.
My life is a bit dimmer knowing we have lost such a wonderful person. I will cherish the years I had knowing her and will never forget that little curly blonde girl who asked me to play.
