I am awe struck when I attempt to think of the hole in ones life left by the loss of your sole mate. I can't help tearing up just thinking about the possibility of losing my wife so understand in part what you must be going through. I hope that through your friends, love ones and the grace of god you will find a modicum of solace, comfort, and peace.

Dr Zerwas, you do not know me, I knew Cindy when the children were in school. I was her hairdresser then. I was shocked to hear of your loss. She was a lovely, faithful person who always showed her love of God and her family. I pray for your peace and consolation. God bless you all.

I had the privilege of meeting Cindy only once, and she was an absolute ray of sunshine! But what I well remember was a letter she wrote many years ago to the newspaper in defense of you as an anesthesiologist...and anesthesiologists in general....in which she told the reader just how hard members of this specialty worked and the sacrifices you made. That, alone, told me volumes about your wife, and I know you were fortunate to have had her in your corner!
May you and your family be comforted with the memories of Cindy and may you all look forward to a time when you're together again.

We remember the first time we met Cindy in the yard of her then-new home. We were so impressed by her friendliness and beautiful smile. She never changed. Her community loved her and wish peace and serenity for the family. Cindy will never be forgotten by anyone who was lucky enough to know her.

Dr. Zzzz, I am so sorry for your loss. You are such a good man and devoted father and husband. I worked with you on the CV heart team at SW and you even put me to slee p a few times!
