Cyril Maplethorp Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cyril Maplethorp on October 8th 2012. Left to mourn are Frances, his wife of 60 years, his two children, daughter Amanda (Ian) and son David (Lori), and two grandchildren, Adrian and Eleanor and his brother Frédéric in France. Cyril was a long time and active resident of Port Moody, serving several years on City Council. He was also a long term business owner and an avid bridge player. He volunteered for many years, first with the Red Cross and later at Eagle Ridge Hospital. This wonderful man will be sadly missed. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation, Port Moody, in his name would be greatly appreciated.
