Mamaw, as we called her, was one of the people who had a profound effect on who I am today. She was such a warm and loving person, and she taught me to always be open and kind, to hug like you'll never see that person again, as well as a myriad of things such as sewing, cooking, and crocheting. Our lives growing up were filled with good food, good times, and most importantly, unconditional love. Miss you, Mamaw!

From my brother in law: I'm very sorry to hear about you and your family's loss. I have to honestly say that your grandma was one if the most loving and REAL people I've ever met. I'm always referencing her to Esmy when reminiscing good times in Texas. Til this day it was simply magical being near her. From the 1st time meeting her to the last time I got to see her, it was amazing how non-judgmental she was of me. She treated me like family. I'm blessed to have met her and honored to have tasted her wonderful food. She'll be in our prayers.
