D. CUTSHALL Obituary

Published by Vancouver Sun and/or The Province on Jan. 23, 2016.
D. HARLAN CUTSHALL 1969 - 2016 Loving son and brother, beloved uncle, loyal and kind friend, left us on January 7, 2016, after a brief illness. He was a versatile actor for more than two decades, known to many in the film industry for working both movies and TV series. Self-taught pianist, German speaking from his months abroad, creative in design, and innovative in renovations - he was an artist. Family knew him for his loving presence, always in their lives. Friends remember his wit, his smile and his kindness. Harlan is survived by parents Pat and Keith, sisters Lyn, Laura (Mike) and Tally (Stephen), and brother Cliff (Martha). His nieces and nephews - Richard (Nataliia), Jamie, Esther, Isaiah, Khotso, Sean and Ima will miss him. Family are hosting a Celebration of Love for Harlan on Monday January 25, from 4:00 (memory sharing and open mike begins at 4:30) until 7:00 at Heritage Hall, 3102 Main Street in Vancouver. Harlan's friends are welcome. In lieu of flowers please consider honouring Harlan with a donation to Performing Arts Lodges (http://palvancouver.org/).

Very shocked to have just found out about Harlans passing. I had known him since high school and worked with him in the business. He was a wonderful man. So very sorry for your loss.

When I think of Harlan all I can see is that beautiful smile of his. He was a funny, kind and sincere soul, the world will be less bright without him. I am so sorry for your loss, he was one of a kind and will be missed.
