Daisy Marie Smith, 75, of Poplarville, Mississippi, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at her residence.

She was born on August 13, 1943 in Poplarville to Dolphus and Mary Louise Sullivan Rogers. She was employed in housekeeping at Pearl River County Hospital and Nursing Home for 18 years. She was a member of Jesus' Name Holiness Church in Derby.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Gary Smith; seven siblings, Mable Miller, Charles Rogers, Roy Rogers, Johnny Dolphus Rogers, Ray Rogers, Ernest "Soddy" Rogers, and Shirley Pullens.

Family members include three children, Gary Wayne (Anita) Smith, Linda Gail "Lucy" (Hilton) Falgoust, Rodney (Renotta) Smith; nine grandchildren, Cameron Grissom, Gary (Chelsey), Colton (Andrea), Armand Falgoust, Brandon (Destiny), Donald Wayne (Skyler), Tiffany (Bobby), David (Stephanie) Smith, Kaitlyn Smith; great grandchildren, Chloe, Treyton, Cyanna, Timothy, Christiny, Riley, Kallie, Kinzley, Jace, Colton, Jr., Bailey, Maddie J., Remeigh, Jamie, Paige, Emma; five siblings, Lavern Kleyle, Ernestine (Joe) Montgomery, Tommy (Jawanna) Rogers, Cynthia Morris, Jimmy (Bertha) Rogers; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 am. Rev. Barry Duncan will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Juniper Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm, Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Smith, Gary Falgoust, Colton Falgoust, Armand Falgoust, Donald Wayne Smith, and David Smith.
