OTTUMWA — Terri Lynn Leahy Riley, 41, of 182 N. Moore St., died at 7:02 a.m. Jan. 5, 2009, at her home.She was born Aug. 27, 1967 in Ottumwa to Bill and Barbara Hobbs Leahy. She married Robert Riley Oct. 19, 1990 in Ottumwa.A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1985, she had been an employee of Wal-Mart for 16 years. For the last two years she was a devoted mother at home. Her pride and joy was her two-year-old son. Her giving and caring nature will be missed. Terri loved animals, especially her dogs Bucky and Charlie, shopping for purses and collecting wooden Santas. She attended First Pentecostal Assembly of God.Surviving is her husband, Bob; her son, Brendan Philip Riley; her mother and stepfather, Barbara and Don Hoover of Bloomfield; five sisters, Sherry (Tom) Budiselich of Centerville, Barbara (Kent) Evans of Richland, Debbie (Rickey) Blevins of Roscoe, Ill., Tammy (John) Bienusa and Brenda (Brad) Kenney both of Ottumwa; a half brother, Jeff Leahy of Spokane, Wash.; a half sister, Judy Leahy of Columbus, Ohio and a wonderful extended family.She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Leahy; grandparents, Lester and Genevieve Hobbs, Charles and Elizabeth Leahy; a half brother, Tim Leahy; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Philip and Joyce Riley.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Schlotter and Rev. George Edgerly officiating.
