Dale Allen Godfrey

I just heard about this and wanted to say what a wonderful man and Christian witness Dale was.
To JoAnn, his family and Grace International family our love and prayers are with you all.

When I opened the paper today and saw his picture my heart broke. He was one of the sweetest men that I have ever met. I remember him always telling everyone how much he loved his beautiful bride (and at the time I was working with him I guess you guys had been married about 50 years) I said even after 50 years you still call her your bride? He said "she will ALWAYS be my bride". I thought that was sooo adorable and went home that night and told my husband that I wanted us to be that happy in 50 years. So everytime he calls me his bride it always makes me smile. He was an Angel here on earth and now they have a new Angel in heaven. I am so grateful for the time that I knew him and glad that I got to see his smiling face one last time when I saw him at sams, that is how I will always remember him.

Your family will be in our hearts and prayers.

I was sad to read of Mr. Dale's passing. He became a friend from just being at the door of Sam's with such a gentlemanly smile and helping hand. He was a good man and there is no doubt where he is today. That is such assurance that I will see him again one day, maybe standing at the door of heaven welcoming me as I enter. Mrs. Godfrey and family,
I am so sorry for your loss but know in my heart that Mr. Godfrey and Suzanne are enjoying each other's company in the presence of their Savior...We miss Suzanne so much at our monthly "red hat sisters" get togethers and speak of her often. We know she "is there" with us as well and laughing as we remember...God's blessings be yours in the days ahead and my He comfort and keep all of you.

I will miss you very much Papa. I love you. I know you are in a better place now.
