I met Dale in 1977 thru friends William Barnes and Steven Wilcox. Dale and I became great friends right from the start. We were on a bowling league together and the laughter that brought was so fun.We also were roommates for 2 years and had many a party Superbowl ones. Dale taught me everything he knew about football. And the phone was Always ringing with someone making a bet.I got used to all the crazy things that were happening when I got home. My friends wanted to come and join in. Dale and Skitter and I took several trips to see Woody. They took turns driving and sleeping while I was on the maps keeping the driver awake with no sleep. But I didn't mind.I met so many people thru dale and went to his cabin many times and The Padres was the last vacation I took to see him. Our friendship and love that we shared is carved in my heart. He will always live on in the many stories. I could tell. But I will save those for story time at Jimmy's. I am heartbroken that I will never get another hug or Birthday greeting. But he lived his life fully every day loved his son's and Grandkids and Carol for the gift of the boys. He loved people and I am so glad that I was one of the people he loved. Forever in my heart. Love you so. Connie

I met Dale when my husband and I retired at LIV. He lived across the street from me and down a few houses. Dale was a good friend and we shared a love for boxers. I miss him. He was a special and kind man and had a mischievous nature which was always entertaining. But above all else, he was a good friend and would do anything for anyone. He was well loved in our community. Dale, you will be greatly missed.

I met Dale at Sibley Park when I was 14 he used to walk me home and always made me laugh. When my dad would open the door, Dale would run like hell. We remained friends through the years and he became a wonderful Dad and we shared the love of our dogs. He will always remain in my heart. He was a great man and father. My prayers and condolences to his family . Rest in peace my dear friend

What can I say? Dale was the most unique individual I´ve ever met. I met him for the first time when I was in second grade attending his sister Kathy´s birthday party. He was mischievous even way back then! But a lovable little devil he was! So many life experiences we went through together! I will miss him so much. My prayers go out to Danny, Makayla and the whole family. Dale will always be in my heart. Rest in Peace my dear friend. Gone but never forgotten
