Dale P Johnson...a dear friend in spite of distance Texas - Norway. Met you in Dallas 1994, and you guided us trough the city in our trip to see the site of John F death, and you came all the way to Atlanta to visit while I was working at the Olympics. Christmas Cards every year until...and I have been searching to find what stopped those cards. Rest in Peace my friend. Allways remembered in my heart. Love from Nils-Einar Stenmyren Norway.

I sent Dale a Christmas card in 2023 as a means to reconnect just as he had always sent Christmases past. When my card was returned, I tried contacting Dale, but to no avail. My research identified that he had passed in January 2021. I am sorry to hear this sad, sad news. Dale and I met while working at InterFirst Bank Dallas in the early 80s and had remained acquaintances for many years. Although our contact faded in the last several years, I thought of him often because of his considerate and gentle soul. A very likable and engaging man. I would identify Dale to my family and friends as the "Consummate Texas Gentleman." There were no other words I could use to define him more accurately. God bless you, Dale and peace be with you. I pray for your soul´s union in our heavenly Father´s kingdom.

I just recently decided to reconnect with Dale, who hosted me in Dallas as a young visiting journalist with the Dallas Morning News from Europe in 1996, and was saddened greatly to see that he has passed! Dale used to send me a signed Christmas postcard every year for a long time, until just before the pandemic. You were a most generous soul and I will keep on reading Pat Conroy's novels in your memory in California, Dale!

It was always a comfort to know that my friend Dale always had my back. He was a constant friend, great story teller and we laughed and enjoyed life when ever we got together, which was rare after I moved to California. God bless his legacy and his family who I know will miss him most.

I'm from Switzerland and first met with Dale in 1985, when I was visiting Kennedy's assassination place. True and faithful friendship ever since, with a lot of nice memories. I was looking forward to coming to Dallas for another meeting. Now I have a friend in heaven. Rest in peace !

I am saddened to hear of Dale's passing but know that my Dad was one of many who welcomed him with our Lord, Jesus Christ. My family and I were friends for as long as I can remember. Dale was such a smart, thoughtful gentleman and will miss catching up with him.

Dale was our neighbor on Lovers Lane, about 10 years. He was always a gentleman, considerate, and just a great guy. When my husband died in 2018, he bought over enough good for a month. We frequently got to catch up in our lives when we were going in and our of our garages. Please, when there an event for sharing about Dale, please contact me

My heart is broken. Dale was a dear colleague from Chase and a dear friend. He was the best friend anyone could ever have and I know, thousands are mourning is passing. Am so sorry for his family, his many godchildren and all his friends. We weep together, yet praise God we knew Dale and were honored to call him friend. Peace, Rebecca Todd
