DALE STURM Obituary
89, of Moon Township, passed on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Born April 18, 1924 in Bula, WV, son of the late William and Hazel (Baker) Sturm; beloved husband of 65 years to Cecil (Clovis) Sturm; loving father of Debra Sturm of Carnegie, Danny Sturm of Rochester, MN and the late Allen Dale Sturm; grandfather of Wendy (Dennis) Meli, Pamela (Ray) Weaver, Carrie Stewart, Jamie (James) Ward and Jason (Jenni) Sturm; great-grandfather of Taylor Meli, Janine and Dillon Weaver, Nolan and Nyle Ward, and Olivia and Brody Sturm; brother of Mildred Cowell of Blacksville, WV and Caroline Eddy of Delmont, PA and the late Catherine Steele, Irene Phillips, Betty Tennant and Bobby Sturm. Dale was an Army veteran of World War II and was in customer service for Columbia Gas. Visitation COPELAND'S MOON TWP., 981 Brodhead Rd., Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. with James O'Guin officiating. Interment Olive Cemetery, Pentress, WV with full Military Honors.

I will miss sitting with him, Cecil, on Bobby, and Freda Sturm's porch during the summer when they came to visit. They are/were all great people. My heart goes out to my relatives in PA, and MN.
