Dalton West Smith

Dalton W. Smith, age 21, unexpectedly passed on September 18th, 2022.

Dalton, the little brother who unapologetically knew exactly who he was, was always upbeat and looking for the positive side of life. He liked to make sure everyone was okay and was very family oriented. He loved to play Pokemon with his brothers and girlfriend, going on adventures with family, and spending Friday nights watching RuPaul with his mom and cat Tanner. Time spent shopping with Grandma, baking and cooking with mom, and sharing his favorite treats with family were the things that brought him happiness and peace.

His family will remember his love for anything artistic. The time he went ziplining and got stuck, tried to feed Ritz crackers to a shark at Ripley's, how he would always be the first one on the ride even though it would make him sick, catching newts and water bugs, and the sheer love he had for everything this world has to offer. Last but not least, the love and excitement he had for his nephew Charlie, the toddler that stole his heart and occasionally ripped out chunks of his hair.

Dalton is survived by his mother, Cindy Doolin-Smith; Grandparents, Mildred and Charles Doolin & Linda Rowland; Great Grandmother, Anna Robbins; Brothers, Dustin (Shannon) Smith and Dylan Smith; Nephew, Charles Smith; long time girlfriend, Briana Pena;

He is preceded in death by his uncle, Richard Doolin.
