LAKELAND - Damien Michael Munroe, 49, of Lakeland died Thursday, Oct 4, 2018.
Damien was born in Northern Ireland to Michael & Mary Munroe. He was a faithful member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and worked at Powerscreen of Florida.
He is preceded in death by his father Michael, sister Heather and is survived by his wife Annie, son Joseph, daughter Ellen, all of Lakeland, his mother Mary Munroe, sisters Caroline, Tracey, and Rachael, numerous nieces and nephews all of Cookstown, Northern Ireland.
Damien's family will receive friends on Sunday, Oct 7, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home, 8850 Mall Hill Dr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Oct 8, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 820 Marcum Rd, Lakeland, FL. Damien will be laid to rest in Forthill Cemetery, Cookstown, Northern Ireland.

We did not have the chance to write on the guest book. There were many people who attended the funeral mass at St Anthony. I was with the choir singing.
Anyway saw this online Guest Book of Damian in my email. I was glad to see it,our chance to write something for Damian and his family.
Damian you are now in heaven with our creator. Look over your wife Annie and family adjusting to thier new life without you. Guide, protect them.
To dearest Annie and family sorry for your loss it is the toughest challenge in life to loose a lifetime partner. We know you will be strong to carry on with your life. You are a strong woman. You and family will be always in our thoughts and prayers. You are missed at St Anthony. You were a big asset to our church. You are a big loss.
Please accept our deepest Sympathy for your loss of Danian your beloved husband. May he rest in peace. Damian, you and family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Hope you are doing well there in Ireland . May God Bless you.
Your husband Damian will always be we with you always. He is now in a better place. Hope one day we will cross path in seeing you again either in one of our trips or in Lakeland Florida. Take care.
