Dan Kent Arft

Wow, it's EIGHT years already! Time seems to go faster and faster.

I still miss Dan. I remember times with him from all the way back to our times at Butte des Mortes Grade School to the 3rd Street Diner breakfast and the Class Reunions and the golf courses and Golf Galaxy.

Now, with the Covid-19 virus I haven't seen ANY of my old schoolmate friends like Dan at the 3rd Street Diner or elsewhere. It's been since last November because I went to Mexico for the Winter.

Times sure have changed, haven't they.

Dear Roxy, So sad to hear about Dan's passing. I have so many nice memories of him and your family. Dan and I grew up together from grade school thru MHS where I often watched Dan play tennis. Cid and I especially enjoyed our family trips to Panama City Beach in the spring. His frequent expression: "A little bit of this and a little bit of that" is part of that memory!
Dan will be missed, but I will always remember him. Love and prayers to you and your family.

Dear Roxy & Todd,
I am so sorry to hear about Dan. I enjoyed all the talks we had in the waiting room at Dr. Mortensen's while you had your teeth cranked on. I also enjoyed the long talks with your mom there-a 10 minute appt laster 4 mins. I will keep you and your family in my prayers at this time. Dr. Mortensen passed away last June-he had a massive stroke. He was going to retire the end of June and never made it. I had almost 40 years with him. Take care. Donna (from Dr. Mortensen's office)

Dan was a great guy and teacher i had him as my instructor in the early 90's.

I'm sure glad we got to see and talk to you and Dan a few weeks ago that morning at the Third Street Diner.

Dan sure was a great "people person."

Sue and I enjoyed very much the times we golfed together and also the times at Westridge where he marshaled and always had some wisecracks for us. Also the great advice he gave us at Golf Galaxy.

Dan was one of my best friends as we grew up on School Ct in Menasha. He got me interested in baseball, tennis and even archery during the polio epidemic. After we graduated from High School (he from Menasha, me from Neenah) we still hung out together and formed even more memories. He will be missed by many people especially his competitors in the sports he loved and excelled at. May God bless you Roxy, Dave, Virginia and the kids in your time of sorrow. Dan was a great guy. He was a big part of our annual spring golf trip and always had a story to tell. He will be missed, but never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
