Dan Treb

To my wonderful husband Dan. I miss you every day. They say it will get easier, but I'm not sure when that will be.
In the mean time I'll keep you in my heart and think of you daily.
Your laugh and smiling face. The way you always called me Bunny Muffins when you would walk in the door from work or a trip and tell me how much you missed me.
If we could only predict our futures life could be so much easier. We certainly wouldn't take life for granted as much as we do.
I just want you to know I cherised all of our 30 years together and thank you so much for being a great husband and a super dad. Oh ya and a awesome grandpa. Love you lots and miss you so.

Oh how things change in a years time - I miss you everyday and know you are watching over your beloved grandson. I love you and hope you are having fun with Molly and all our loved ones - keep watching over us and please try to guide your grandson in the right direction! Love your daughter Heather

Oh, Brother DAN how I miss you so. I cannot tell you how many times I have picked up the phone to call you. I still have a hard time beleiving you are gone, thinking he will be back from his trip soon. So much has happend in my life this last year. I am so sad you were not here for me to share it with you. Mom is with you now, please take care of one another. The Treb Tribe is definatley not the same without the two of you. It just seems so distant now. I have to stop writting now, its to damn emotional. I love you, always and forever Brother Dan, please continue to watch over me. Dan was a great asset and also a friend. I didn’t know him long but it seemed like we knew each other for ever. The world and the wilderness will seem empty without him. I was lucky to know him and I will miss him.

Dear Lois: I was saddened to learn today of the passing of Dan. We shared a number of hunting camps over the years and I truly enjoyed his company. A thoughtful and generous man. I always looked forward to the SCI Convention in Reno and the Minnesota Chapter Hospitality Room. Dan was a gracious host. May he rest in peace.

I was very sad to learn of Dan's passing. I have many fond memories of hunting with Dan in the Minnesota North Woods. Our prayers go out to the family.

Dan was an uncle to me, as he was married to my aunt many years ago. He always had a smile, and a great sense of humor. He was still a part of our family, and was and will be thought of often with great affection. I am so sorry to hear of his early departure. I wish his family strength in this time of great loss.

I just remember our weekend together up at Lake Winnie and last years "dancing in the living room" at Johns cabin and of course Heather standing in the door way. Dan was a great kind man.
