Some of the happiest summers of my childhood were spent visiting you and your family on the farm in Newport. We had great times playing in the hayloft, swimming, fishing and just hanging out. Rest in peace my dear cousin..

I would like to send my condolences to the Dana Brown family. I met him when I used to go to the movies with my foster father Wilfred Condon, across the street from Brown's store. Later I would buy bait from him to go fishing. He was a very interesting person, I learned a lot from him. He was a trapper and so was I. He will be sadly missed, he was a well respected man. He always had a smile on his face.

I only knew Dana as Jeannette's husband and her frequent and humorous renditions of his "tolerance" of her "rabid" reporting. As a true Newport personality, he will be missed. They both are part of Newport history now. My condolences to his family and friends.

Linnette, This town will not be the same without your dad. He was an icon and his food got me through my pregnancy!!!! The "BOB TENNEY" in paticular, but he did have his secret meatballs and sauce recipes too. He was loved by everyone! He will be deeply missed. My thoughts are with you all.

Dana, was one of my favorite cousins, very amusing and thoughtful man. He was also a very good listener, and up to a few years ago he used to cut my hair. He will be sadly missed.

Sorry to hear of Dana's passing. He has certainly left a legacy of determination and the will to live. He will be remembered as an inspiration to us all. Please take care.
