Dana Ann Painter

Dana Ann Painter, a true lover of animals, music, art, cooking and all things that brought joy, decided on August 12, 2024, that she'd fought cancer long enough and was ready to trade in her earthly battles for eternal peace. Dana left us surrounded by family.

Born on October 30, 1977, Dana had a knack for filling every room she entered with laughter, love, and her favorite playlist. Dana's sense of humor was her superpower. Even during her toughest times, she could always manage a smile and a laugh. She was an irreplaceable part of the PalTalk community, where she found some of her dearest friends. Her family is deeply grateful for the love and support these friendships provided.

Dana was preceded in death by her father, Martin Painter, whom she's probably already filled in on everything he's missed down here. She is survived by her mother, Jacqueline Painter, her brother, Jon Kelly, and her sister, Theresa Fritz. Dana also leaves behind her nieces, Dakota and Annabelle, and her nephew, Elliot, who will forever remember their Aunt Dana as someone who loved them unconditionally.

In lieu of flowers, Dana would have wanted you to donate to a local non-profit of your choice. She'd also appreciate it if you could play some good music and share a laugh in her memory-because if there's one thing she taught us, it's that life is too short not to find joy wherever you can.
