WILKES-BARRE — Daniel D. Boich, 83, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015, at the Celtic Healthcare Hospice in Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre. His wife of 57 years is Theresa Vinscavage Boich.
Daniel was born Nov. 25, 1931, in Wilkes-Barre. He was a son of the late Wasco Boich and Antoinette Crane Boich. He attended GAR High School and joined the U.S. Army. He was a Korean veteran, proudly serving his country.
He owned and operated Danny's Car Center in Wilkes-Barre for more than 50 years. He was a well-respected businessman. He was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Wilkes-Barre.
He was the father of six children and eight grandchildren.
There were no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at the convenience of the family. Interment was followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Funeral services were entrusted to the Simon S. Russin Funeral Home, Plains Township.
