Daniel Brack Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 20, 2024.
Daniel Frederick Brack, age 42, of Suwanee GA, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024. He was married to Renee Denbow Brack for 10 years and is survived by his father and mother, Frederick Roy Brack and Kathleen Whitmore Brack of Raleigh, NC, and his sister, Michelle Marie Brack, of Durham, NC. He also leaves behind his three children: Blakely age 8, Hayden age 7, and Ariella age 6.

Dan was a native of North Carolina and a graduate of Millbrook High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in 2007 in health and applied human sciences from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He started his career as a diabetes care specialist with Novo Nordisk, earning top accolades across a successful 11+ year career. He then found his new passion with surgical robotics, transitioning to a customer trainer role at Intuitive Surgical. He most recently started a new job as a clinical specialist with Distalmotion USA Inc.

Dan had many hobbies and interests. He found solace in learning and perfecting new skills. He was a self-taught woodworker. Aside from a remarkable ability to fix anything, he made beautiful cutting boards that he graciously shared with many. He built a 3D printer and taught himself the intricacies of programming to put the printer to use. He loved to ski and was blessed to have taken several trips to Big Sky, Montana, where he conquered their most challenging slopes. Dan loved vacationing at the beach, where he ate seafood, played bocci ball, threw the football, and dove through waves. He loved cruising around in boats while listening to his favorite music. He was a fantastic cook, often entertaining both friends and family on the weekends with perfectly grilled and smoked meats. Above all else, Dan fiercely loved his family. He was so proud of his three children. He devoted time to teaching them new skills, helping them solve problems, making them laugh, and watching them grow. His light continues to shine in their presence, and we will forever build on the remarkable foundation and example he set forth for their lives.

Dan leaves behind a legacy of generosity, laughter, positive energy, curiosity, and versatility. He built many lifelong relationships with friends who will immensely miss him but will always remember his impact and the contributions he made to everyone's life.

Dogs have played an instrumental role throughout Dan's entire life. He grew up surrounded by his mother's Seeing Eye dogs, which solidified his love for dogs. As he became an adult, he got his first dog, JoJo, whom he trained and cherished very dearly. JoJo was his perfect companion. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Dan's memory may be made to The Seeing Eye at PO Box 375 Morristown NJ, 07963.

I met Dan when he came to work for Novo Nordisk in Las Vegas. I have such fond memories of his big smile and big heart! He was truly a kind hearted soul that always made you feel like every day was the best day! He was funny and told the best stories and I am just so sad to hear this news. He was a bright spot in this world and I’m sad to know that he is gone. I know he will be missed!
Wishing his family and all those that grieve him my deepest sympathy.

I worked with Dan when he lived in the NW. He was a kind authentic person and both colleagues and customers enjoyed being around him. I remember how proud he was with his first home and earning what he worked so hard for.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences to the Brack family. May God look over all of you and give peace.

Dan was our wonderful neighbor and friend. We moved in to our new home shortly around the same time and he instantly welcomed us like had know us forever. We had so much entertainment watching him garden, built new projects to share, and listen to his fun stories. Looking at the back yard he created every day brings so many great memories. I will never forget the night he proposed to Renee. She came running down the sidewalk with so much excitement! I could go on and on about the joy he brought to so many. Rest in peace Dan. I pray your babies continue to know how awesome of a human you were!

Dan lived across the alley from us in Renaissance Park. We´ll never forget his unbounded enthusiasm for all things home including some of the best dinners! When he came to visit in CA we picked up right where we left off. That was just the kind of guy he was. Sending love to everyone who was blessed to have him in your life. He will be missed.

I recently met Dan and he was very nice and generous . We had dinner at a nice restaurant with my wife and he insisted on picking up the tab. We enjoyed his company and we would both bond and talk about our CPAP machines. I'm in total shock because the world just lost a genuinely nice person . RIP Dan
