Daniel Joseph Durbin

Daniel Joseph Durbin, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, met his heavenly Father on June 2nd, 2024, in Louisville. He was born on June 27th, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Bishop David high school and JCC.

Danny was a man of faith and had a personal relationship with his Savior. He had a zest for life, a great sense of humor, and deeply loved his children and grandchildren. He had several different jobs but he was most proud of his career as a pediatric nurse. He had a passion for cars and driving, boating, fishing, and for his beloved pets Bailey, Lucy, and Lily.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Leamon Durbin; mother, Shirley Ann Cutsinger; and sister, Kathleen Marie Durbin.

He is survived by his loving wife Esther; children Jessica Phillips (Matthew) and Derek Durbin (Candace); stepchildren Jonathan (Jenifer) White and Hannah Lambdin (Chris Yazell); brother Jon-Daniel Durbin, caregiver to David R. Grayson and partner to Stephen R. Schmidt; sister Julia Hurt (Wayne); brother Nick Durbin (Amber); sister Sarah Nalley; brother Ben Durbin (Jennifer); sister Hannah Durbin; grandchildren Madeline and Jackson Durbin, Claire and Autumn Phillips, and Wren White; nephew Jeffrey Hurt and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins; father in law and mother in law Lester and Rose Bradfield; brother in law and sister in law Marshall and Heather Bradfield; and former father in law and dear friend Lester Fields.
