As years have passed and I have had time to heal from your passing, I feel closer to you than ever. Your devotion to being a father and caretaker despite your own struggles has impacted me tremendously. You have taught me so much about life and love and I am so thankful. All my love always and forever. XOXO

The neighbourhood is not the same without Dan. On the day Dan died, I had to run out and get some groceries. While I was waiting in line, I heard the most beautiful song playing throughout the store. It was Elton John's song that goes like, "Daniel, my brother, you are a friend of mine..." The song was so perfect, I had to just hold back the flow of tears. Now every time I hear that song I will think of Dan. He was a good man and he will be missed by so many.

Stacy & Norm

Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow,
Hold tight to memories for comfort,
Lean on your friends for strength,
May looking back on memory help comfort you tomorrow.
