Words can not express how your Dad will be missed by all who knew him.I will keep you in my prayers. Photography is now a great love of mine. I truely continue to enjoy and display in my home the beautiful portraits of me and my Family,and it was a treat to have worked with your Dad,Mom and you Steve. sharing the love in this talented and amazing family will forever live in my heart. I was so sad to learn of the death of your dad. He was a wonderful, fun, interesting man, and an outstanding photographer. He loved people and was interested in their lives, and I think this allowed him to discover and capture personalities on films. I'm sorry for your loss, and I treasure the great memories I have from being a guest at your house during my high school years. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Steve, So sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. Our families have been intertwinned for so many years. Your Dad took my parent's wedding pictures, as well as my wedding pictures (double wedding with my sister Pam), and my parents' silver anniversary pictures. He later took beautiful portraits of both Todd and Erika, as well as all their baby pictures. Your Dad will be truly missed. Our family loved him dearly and we always looked forward to our "sittings" just to see his great smile and the twinkle in his eyes. We are so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. Like so many, our wedding was done by his studio and both our son's baby pictures were done by Dan. Wonderful memories were made in that studio!! Our sincere condolences to the entire family. We know he will be missed.

Anna, I am so saddened for your loss. It is certainly evident in these condolences that he was loved by many people. May it give you comfort to know that he lives in the hearts of those whose path he crossed.

Dan Glenn was truly a genius in the world of photography. I knew he and Catherine all of my life, because they were friends of my mother. I am puzzled at the bio given. I have a lovely portrait that he took of my mother when she was Miss Cherokee in 1931 or 1932. My sympathy to all the family.

I came to Florence as a early teen and was blessed to meet my future husband, Skip (Allen) Butler, son of Horace and Celestine Butler. As I came to learn of Florence, the words "professional photography" and the name "Dan Glenn" were synonymous. A number of photographs in our family are from his studio. May God be with your family during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Dan Glenn. I knew Dan Glenn about 50 years ago. He did the pictures for CCHS. In 1960 I was on the annual staff and he did both our senior pictures and the pictures for the annual. It is sad to learn of his death.

To the Glenn Family,
Mr. Glenn was a kind, sweet man and a pleasure to know. We met when he was doing some temp work to keep busy during his retirement, and seeing him during that time always brightened my day. I am sorry to see that he is gone; he will be missed.

To the Glenn family, please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your dad. He was a special man who was beloved by many including my family. He always made people comfortable while making some amazing photographs. I remember his smile and his sense of humor and visualizing him makes me smile. He made many pictures of us over the years which we treasure. My mom, Oleta Wisdom, and my Aunt Celestine Butler taught Anna Kate in kindergarten. Mom dearly loved Anna and thought that she was very special. May God bless all of you with His prescence and give you comfort and peace.

My life was so enriched for loving both Big Daddy and Big Mama. I fondly remember house sitting for them when they would go on trips. Big Daddy was one of the coolest older gentleman I have ever known.
