You never notice how often you think of a person until that person's gone. He floats through my mind all the time. I wish I could launch a hot air balloon with him at least one last time and hear a few Dan jokes for the road.

Cannot believe it is now 2 years since Dans sudden passing. My very best wishes from England to all his friends & family on this sad anniversary. I still remember those great times when I piloted for him in Palm Desert all those years ago. A generous fun guy who treated me with respect & trust that will not be forgotten. A lovely man.

I had the pleasure of flying with Dan as one of his pilot for the last 4 years. During that time I learned a lot from him and I am a better pilot today because of Dan. I will miss him and flying in the same skies with him. Rest In Peace Dan. You were a great man.

I didn’t know Dan as long as I wish we both shared the same passion when it came to ballooning. Flying with Dan will always be with me and all the jokes and laughter at lunch after each flight

Dan was such a great guy. I've known him for more than 20 years and worked for him at one point. One of the funniest things he said was when we were having a difficult time driving a truck out of a little canyon that a balloon had landed in. He said, "I've never had such a hard time getting out of this place," and I said jokingly, "Psht. It better be worth it." So he said, "Yeah, it better be Narnia when we get out there!"

OK, so his humor is odd but he got me cracking up at some point every time I worked for him. Those fond memories will always be dear to me.

It’s Warren, Megan’s Dad and Dans friend of seventeen years. I can’t add much to Adam’s wonderful obituary. But I would like to to acknowledge Dans positive influence on our families lives, his generosity and willingness to “be there” when it counted. I’ll miss him
